Miki Cohen - President – Western States Horse Expo

Born and raised in Sacramento.  I have two boys seven and nine, they are involved and therefore I am too, in Karate, Go Kart racing and fishing and camping.  I love to read, help my kids school and race an SCCA road race car that happens to be a 2005 Mustang.

My career began in the early 80's planning multiple Medical/Computer seminars across the nation, from my desk.  I did this for seven years and we did over 100 seminars a year.  The goal was getting the mini computer entered into the private practice....it was the beginning of what is now normal in the private doctor office.  I was the Executive Director for a 6000 member Association that was non-profit, published a monthly magazine and sanctioned over 650 events nationwide.  I am now the President and Founder of Western States Horse Expo a 12 year old annual event.  This event has over 500 exhibitors, 200 seminars, an Art Show, three competitive events and over 60,000 horse enthusiasts attend every year for three days.
